The choir sang a short concert in the chapel of Motherhouse at Mt St Macrina for the Sisters of Saint Basil and visited St Macrina Manor Nursing home singing few selections for the residents.



The choir visited several Pittsburgh area churches during the weekend -- Nativity of the Mother of God, St Elias, and St John Chrysostom (Ruska Dolina).

The first concert was conducted in Saint Mary's Church in Johnstown, PA with over 200 persons attending in the recently renovated church. Many Orthodox clergy and lay persons attended from the area, including Metropolitan Nicholas, and all gathered in the parish hall for fellowship after the concert.

On September 19, the choir sang a concert in the chapel of SS Cyril & Methodius Byzantine Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh, and spent the weekend enjoying the seminary facilities.



The choir visited the cemetery of SS Peter & Paul Church in Duquesne, PA and sang a Panachida for the grandparents of Jack Figel, tour coordinator.

The choir visited St Nicholas Chapel at the GCU while driving westward from Pittsburgh.



The Seminary Choir sang sacred music from the Carpathian Mountains including selections from the Divine Liturgy, Vespers, Panachida along with Marian and Eucharistic hymns, as wsell as hymns from Lent, Pascha and Christmas.  The director is seminarian Mykola Matsur.



The congregation gave a standing ovation at the end of the concert.



The choir traveled from church to church, and place to place, in vans shown here in the seminary parking lot.  Saturday, September 20th, in Pittsburgh, was a "day off" for sightseeing.



The choir took a river tour of Pittsburgh on a ship of the Gateway Clipper Fleet and saw many views of the city including the new football stadium and baseball field.
